The Yukon territory is in Canada’s northwest south of Alaska. With only 0.07 inhabitants per square kilometer Yukon has more bears tha human beings.
Each year Philippe Heitz (Voyageur Outdoor Services) and Michel Hemmerlé (Alsace Canoës) are planing a canoe trip in this wonderful country. During 12 days we are paddling our canoes down the Big Salmon River, a tributary to the Yukon river. We sleep in tents under the stars and enjoy Canada’s wilderness and remoteness.
This expedition is suited for every one who likes the outdoors, far from modern world. We are expecting help from the participants. The cooking is on open fire. The paddling skills will de trained during a training day in Elsass in spring.
We are offering this trip again in 2023.
